In Ep. 70 of Enterprise AI Minute, Aaron Back explains his quest to “find the story inside the story” at Oracle CloudWorld in Las Vegas and gives listeners an idea as to what they can expect to see during his time there.
00:19 – At Oracle CloudWorld, Aaron plans to “dive into Oracle AI and many of the periphery things that AI impacts or is infused into.” He says that Oracle is bringing AI (artificial intelligence), machine learning, NLP (natural language processing), and other AI lenses to life in real-world outcomes.
00:40 – Oracle is putting on 207 sessions related to AI at Oracle CloudWorld and Aaron says there is sure to be something for everyone. He says many of these sessions are deeply technical in their nature which is “great” because many need to know “how AI is going to be impactful inside industries . . . but more importantly, what’s under the hood of AI that can really translate into those real-world outcomes.”
01:11 – Aaron says these sessions will demonstrate the depth of Oracle AI and showcase AI’s outcomes, which he is “passionately interested in.” He says that the U.K. National Institute for Health Research is showcasing its work with Oracle in developing machine learning that can assist with programming cochlear implants for folks with severe hearing loss.
02:15 – Aaron says the most important part of his role at Oracle CloudWorld is to connect with the people that are bringing AI to life and using it in unique ways that are truly bringing real-world outcomes to people.
