Highlights
00:26 — The original step in the Salesforce-Workday partnership was the creation of this AI employee service agent. But, more broadly, what they’re trying to do is come together to be able to compete more effectively against SAP and Oracle.
01:11 — This is where the real gist of the partnership between Workday and Salesforce lies. The bigger part stems from what Workday CEO Carl Eschenbach said. “We are integrating our platforms, our data sets, and our powerful AI capabilities to be able to do new things.” It’s not just to be able to offer this employee service agent.
02:18 — Now, in this era of the AI revolution, data is going to be more important than ever. So while Workday and Salesforce are extremely successful in the parts of the enterprise they work in, I think they realize they need to go broader to be able to do this.
