In episode 28 of the Data Modernization Minute, Data Modernization Host Wayne Sadin is attending Oracle CloudWorld. He offers listeners insight into what can be expected over the next few days at the event, as he will be covering the topics that his audience is curious about.
00:16 – Wayne is in Las Vegas attending Oracle CloudWorld with Bob Evans, co-Founder and chief content officer, Cloud Wars, and Aaron Back, VP and principal analyst, Acceleration Economy. The three have been “tasked with trying to cover 1,244 sessions, four of five keynotes, and presentations from users, partners, and Oracle themselves,” says Wayne.
00:42 – Having attended Oracle OpenWorld when it was held in San Francisco, Wayne says he is excited to be attending Oracle CloudWorld in Las Vegas.
01:07 – Wayne says he wants to let listeners know that he is attending Oracle CloudWorld and suggests that “you should be here, too, if you use Oracle products, work with Oracle products, or are considering Oracle Products.” He says there is no better way to learn what is going on in the information technology industry than to attend an event. He says Oracle CloudWorld is an opportunity to learn from speakers, customers, and audience members.
01:56 – There will be 1,244 live sessions at Oracle CloudWorld and Wayne says he will try to cover “as many as he can.” He asks everybody to follow him and tell him what they want him to talk about, what they are interested in, and things he may not have considered about the event.
02:45 – Wayne says he expects a “packed three-and-a-half days’ worth of learning, experience, and excitement.” He will be sharing his findings with Acceleration Economy audience members over the next few days.
