27 — Wayne appreciated hearing about the products and Qlik itself at the keynote address. It was given by James Fisher, the chief product officer, along with Josh Good, Vice President, Global Product Marketing.
04 — Wayne had five takeaways from the keynote. The first is how Qlik has a 30-year history of innovation. The second is that 80% of its deliverables come from customer requests. Number three is the company’s three principles: It is cloud-first, but not cloud only; it respects the customer’s data; and it protects the customer’s investments.

06 — The fourth takeaway is the pending acquisition of Talend — Qlik has made a lot of acquisitions. Remember, it’s an analytics platform and a data acquisition platform. And now it’s more and more a data governance, data quality, and data integrity platform.
42 — The number five takeaway is Qlik’s AutoML feature, its artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) tool. It showed the audience a couple of features that are either in testing or not quite at that stage yet, but have already been announced. With AutoML, data analysts have access to advisory tools that help them make better decisions.
49 — The chief product officer demonstrated cool products and gave a great keynote. If you are a customer, partner, or Qlik employee who wants to talk about the company or its products, feel free to contact him.
