00:42 — NIKELAND was launched back in November last year on Roblox. More recently, Nike announced the launch of Airtopia, a new space on NIKELAND to celebrate Air Max Day.
01:02 — This is interesting because Airtopia was aimed entirely at kids.
01:18 — Nike is very much an adult brand. However, the Metaverse is enabling it to encompass the kids’ market in a way that it has never been able to do so before.
01:40 — It’s also interesting how Nike had been able to capitalize on the kids’ market whilst maintaining its brand in every sense of the way, simply because they had a different output for it.
01:54 — Kieron foresees this to happen a lot more. Brands that are specifically adult-focused will be able to tweak what they’re offering simply by moving some of their ideas over to the Metaverse.
