03:03 – With the recent launch of the Acceleration Economy Analyst Network, there has been an abundance of new content. Firstly, Analyst Chris Hughes covered the importance of multi-factor authentication to have extra levels of security.
04:46 – Secondly, Analyst Kieron Allen has shared his expertise on business apps, most recently on apps that enhance work-from home productivity. In addtion, he covered his selection of Top 10 Apps Driving Digital Transformation.
05:52 – Finally, another bookmark-worthy release is Scott Vaughan’s article about 3 Ways Marketing Execs can Lead Change. This perspective emphasizes the importance of collaboration efforts and especially connects to the Future Office of the CFO.
Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation
07:47 – CRM marketing startup, Optimove, recently raised $75 million as part of its growth efforts. Optimove’s platform employs artificial intelligence to organize the customers in a marketing database, which they refer to as “micro-segments.” It monitors these segments with AI to determine movements across micro-segments dependent on customer behavior as well as how they interact with campaigns.

09:21 – Introducing the topic of Robotic Process Automation, Aaron highlights a previous digital event: the RPA Expo. This leads into a news announcement from Blue Prism, an intelligent RPA company. It recently agreed to a $1.5 billion sale to private equity firm, Vista Equity Partners. The company also owns Marketo and TIBCO.
